G-Eazy Ended Partnership With H&M Amidst Racist Ad
M-Eazy is the latest glory to cut ties with H&M amidst racist ad that went viral.
The way brand has been getting some estrus on social media since yesterday after information technology posted an advert on social media that wrecks of racism. Several celebrities who have been doing business with H&M take since cutting ties including The Weeknd, who announced in a scathing tweet that he volition immediately end his partnership with the brand. M-Eazy announced on Instagram on Wednesday that he too will finish his partnership.
"Over the by months I was genuinely excited about launching my upcoming line and collaboration with @HM… Unfortunately, after seeing the disturbing epitome yesterday, my excitement over our global campaign quickly evaporated, and I've decided at this time our partnership needs to end," Eazy wrote. The rapper added that he cannot allow his name to be associated with H&Yard equally the brand quickly becomes toxic to whatsoever celebrity that does business with the company.
"I can't permit for my name and make to exist associated with a company that could let this happen. I hope that this situation volition serve as the wake up phone call that H&M and other companies need to get on runway and go racially and culturally enlightened, as well as more than diverse at every level," he added.
H&K has since released a argument apologizing for the ad while vowing to go to the lesser of what happened.
